Princess Eurika Mogane Honoured with 2025 Woman of Impact Award

Her Royal Highness Princess Eurika Mogane of the Mogane Royal Family has been named among the 31 Women of Impact 2025, a national recognition celebrating visionary women across South Africa who are driving change in their communities. The awards will be officially presented from 28–30 August 2025, highlighting trailblazers in leadership, entrepreneurship, and social development.

Princess Mogane, who serves under the Mogane Traditional Council, received the prestigious Woman of Impact Award for her tireless dedication to youth empowerment, women’s development, and entrepreneurship support. The honour came as a surprise, since recipients in this category are nominated secretly by members of their community who wish to highlight their selfless contributions.

Champion of Women and Youth Empowerment

Over the years, Princess Mogane has been at the forefront of initiatives that provide free entrepreneurship coaching, business plan drafting, proposal development, and digital support to aspiring entrepreneurs. In August 2025 alone, more than 1,000 women have benefited from her free business idea analysis and proposal writing support, an initiative that continues to change lives.

Her efforts are rooted in her own life story. Having endured exploitation and unpaid labour early in her career, she vowed to break the cycle by equipping others with life skills, good governance knowledge, work ethics, and labour relations training. Today, her work ensures that the next generation of South Africans enters the job market with confidence, resilience, and self-worth.

National and International Recognition

Princess Mogane’s leadership extends beyond grassroots mentorship. She was recently appointed as a Board Member of the Kruger Lowveld Chamber of Business and Tourism, where she works to uplift small businesses and guide them towards sustainability. She also partners with a UK-based institution to provide free CV and résumé building tools and psychometric testing services for job seekers.

In a further testament to her influence, President Cyril Ramaphosa recently appointed her as a Commissioner for the Commission for Gender Equality, deploying her to Mpumalanga. Backed by recommendations from over 20 organisations, her role positions her as a strong advocate for equality and inclusivity. As she puts it:

“Gender equality is what brings about a sense of responsibility from all to wake up and build a better society together. The rise of women does not mean the fall of men.”

A Woman of Impact

The Women Navigating the Future Network (WNFN), organisers of the Women of Impact Awards, praised the 2025 honourees as “trailblazers, change-makers, and visionaries who are shaping the future and leaving an indelible mark in their fields.”

Princess Eurika Mogane embodies these qualities, not only through her achievements but through her vision of a society where women, youth, and men thrive together. Her journey, from overcoming hardship to becoming a leader of impact, is an inspiration to South Africa and beyond.
