Wang from Cherry Headquarters, who is currently in South Africa as the Deputy Country Director for the Cherry Brand, confirmed that two new brands will be introduced to South African consumers this year, alongside new vehicle launches and advanced hybrid technology. New brands arriving in March and May According to Kelvin, the Chery Group plans to launch two additional brands in South Africa during 2026 as part of its broader global expansion strategy. The first brand, Lepas (Lepard), is expected to debut locally in March, while the second brand, iCaur, is scheduled for May.
